JimJam are an established early-stage startup that are working hard to disrupt the current physiotherapy experience. Our online platform provides the current high standard of physiotherapy consultation in the comfort of the patient’s own home or place of work - at a time that suits them. Physiotherapists and patients are connected with a suite of diagnostic tools that allow the best progression in the management of the patient’s complaint. We also build business and health management tools and systems for physiotherapists and practices, and a mobile app to join it all together.

We’re looking for a developer who can be a core part of a new and growing team. Coming on board in the early stages means your work will have a real impact on the development of our goals, and will mean you have the ability to grow and steer the product with us.

Ideally, you’ll be an experienced developer who already has some experience behind them, but is ready to step into a more technically challenging and demanding role. You’ll be someone who doesn’t just work on a product, but owns it, and is confident in the decisions they make. You’ll be happy working in a team of differing experiences and skillsets, and rising to the challenges that face a small startup with the passion to massively disrupt an existing industry.

We'd like:

  • 3+ years of commercial experience within a web development position
  • A confident understanding of PHP and modern frameworks
  • An understanding of Javascript, Angular if possible, and other front-end skills such as CSS and HTML
  • Experience with working in multi-user teams, using git and agile workflows

What you can expect:

  • A salary based on your experience (£28k-£35k), with frequent pay reviews
  • An EMI programme (option for shares on buyout)
  • A generous approach to holidays
  • A brand-new Macbook/PC as desired
  • Flexible working time
  • A generous training budget of £1,000 per year to work on your professional development

If this sounds like you, send your CV and a little bit about yourself (100-200 words), including the last two tech talks you saw and the topics they covered (50-100 words per talk), to us here.

We're always looking to take on qualified physiotherapists. To be a JimJam physio you must:

  • be able to converse fluently in English
  • be based in the UK
  • have at least three years of clinical experience
  • have a strong set of references we can speak to
  • be HCPC-registered

JimJam pays a very competitive locum rate and offers flexible hours. So you can earn extra income any time that you're not consulting face-to-face, whether that's early in the morning or late in the evening. All you need is a computer with a high-definition webcam and microphone, and a fast and reliable internet connection.

If you're interested, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with us here.
